Meet The Team

Meet Vicky

Owner of MV Funtatstic

Vicky is the heart behind MV Funtastic. With 23 years of experience working with children, she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and professionalism to everything we do.

Her journey in childcare includes:

  • Becoming Early Years Qualified and working as a Nursery Manager in London 15 years ago
  • Gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Supporting Learning for 5 to 11 year olds
  • Qualifying as a teacher, bringing classroom insight into play-based learning
  • Completing Paediatric First Aid training
  • Being DSL trained (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
  • Holding IOSH Certification, demonstrating her commitment to health and safety

Vicky’s experience, combined with her warm, child-centred approach, ensures MV Funtastic is a place where children feel supported, encouraged and excited to learn through play.

Meet Sandra

Holiday & Afterschool Club Manager

Sandra brings energy, expertise and a nurturing presence to our holiday and afterschool club. She is Early Years qualified and has a strong background in early education, including experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager.

Alongside her leadership role with us, Sandra currently works as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception class, giving her daily insight into early learning, child development and the needs of young children.

Her training and qualifications include:

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Diabetes training
  • DSL trained (Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Sandra is also a proud mum of three amazing children, who love joining us at holiday club and bring even more joy to our setting.

Her caring nature, hands-on experience and dedication to children’s wellbeing make her an invaluable part of the MV Funtastic team.

Meet Jessica

Holiday Club Play Leader

Jessica — or Jess, as the children know her — brings creativity, fun and a brilliant sense of connection to our team. She has been with MV Funtastic since we first opened in 2021, making her a familiar and trusted face for many of our families.

Jess is trained in:

  • Performing Arts
  • Health and Social Care
  • Hair and Beauty

Her varied background gives her a unique ability to engage children, especially the older girls, who naturally gravitate towards her as a younger, relatable member of the team.

Jess is also Paediatric First Aid trained, ensuring she can support children safely and confidently throughout the day.

Outside of work, Jess loves shopping, her car, and getting her nails done — little things that the children adore chatting to her about, helping her build genuine, warm relationships with them.

Meet Aimee

SEN Specialist & Play Leader

Aimee has been a valued member of MV Funtastic since 2021, bringing compassion, patience and specialist knowledge to our team. She has extensive experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and has worked as an Individual Needs Assistant for many years.

Her background means she is confident supporting children with a wide range of needs, ensuring every child feels included, understood and able to thrive within our setting.

Aimee’s calm, caring nature and her dedication to making every child feel welcome make her an essential part of the MV Funtastic family.

Our assistant playworkers include:

Jack, Jayden and Grace. They bring fun and energy to the team with their younger, cooler ideas!
